So I am moving into a house turned into 2 apartments. There is this room within my private entrance I wasn't shown as part of the walkthrough, I didn't really look at first. But I checked it out today and it's bizarre. It's clearly a remodelled portion of the basement with no access outside my private entrance. It's tiled from the walls to the floor and really long, and at the end there are shower heads and a long drain along the back wall. And this camera mounted aimed at the shower area. I'm a bit weirded out, my bedroom is directly above this room. It seems really strange and I'm worried about being picked up on the audio in my bedroom.
Is this really fucking weird or am I bugging? Why would there be a camera in this room? I'm a bit worried to bring it up because I wasn't told anything about this room or given access, but it is an accessible portion of my unit.

It's being patched up tomorrow so it won't be open. Do you think something like this could pick up voices inside my bedroom? I'm a little wary to unplug it because I wasn't told I could go into that room or shown it, but it has no access outside of my unit.

Ctfu dude seems mostly normal but kinda uptight and private. He supposedly had tenants in there waiting to contract on a home and my move in got pushed out for that, I have divined that he was likely just living in there due to finding his packages and the fact he's offering to leave us some furniture in there. Probably a simple "Who is at the door" camera left over from when that was the entrance hall. A spycam would be better hidden
