Every since I gave myself brain damage, my mind has been non stop generating cognitohazards and I can't imagine any of the nice scenarios I used to to cope with my shitty existence. How do I get it to stop generating cognitohazards?

How did you give yourself braindamage OP?
Maybe you have PTSD from the experience?

One thing I do when I'm hung up on a bad thought is put on music that completely oposes that vibe, typically reggae.

See a therapist. Talk it out. Don't take medication, but improve your diet with stuff like Omega 3 and antioxidants to improve brain function.
