Why do I feel tired all the time when I am at home?
A few years ago I started feeling very tired and sleepy despite getting decent sleep at night. I remember this problem started during a period in which I was meditating regularly, so there may be some correlation to it.
At some point I fixed this problem by decreasing my time on my phone, then I got a job with a night shift, and for a while I had this problem again but soon after finishing my contract I felt better.
Now it has started again and I don't know what to do (I didn't increase my time on my phone). I learned that sugar is responsible for my energy levels, and the last few years I tried eating less sugary foods. So I started again eating more sugar to see if I feel less tired but the results are uncertain. Eating sweets and fruits really doesn't seem to help, or at least not always.
Also I've been vegetarian for a decade or so, and I didn't notice any difference by taking the supplements the doctor gave me.
Like I said, I have this problem only when I'm at home. If I am out I'm fine, unless it's a brief 10 minutes walk several of which I normally take during the day, but now that it is summer it's a less amount. I also work out regularly so lack of activity is unrelated to this problem.
With the summer heat now I also get bad sleep. I fall asleep later in the night and also wake up later but not by much. In the morning I wake feeling tired, sleepy and groggy, just like I wake up from a nap later in the day. This makes things worse but my problems with tiredness existed already when I was getting decent sleep.
I feel like shit, it's painful and depressing and I desperately need help to feel less tired and get better sleep.

I think doom scrolling may be the only thing that helps with my tiredness.

Probably bad sleep
Possibly lifestyle
Possibly getting older
Possibly something akin to depression, sometimes called "atypical depression"
Also vegetarian protein sources don't have the same amino acid profile as animal sources and typically have lower grams of protein.

>Probably bad sleep
I had this problem even when I had decent sleep
>Possibly lifestyle
I work out regularly and often go for a walk, even when I had a job I had this problem when I was at home.
>Possibly getting older
I'm in my mid 20s
>Possibly something akin to depression, sometimes called "atypical depression"
Yeah I've always been depressed, so it's probably this but I don't know what to do about it. I can't just stop being depressed.

I think when you get too comfortable you just get less energetic, happens to me too especially when I'm at home I don't feel like doing any work. You just need to get out of your comfort zone
