>been working as a part timer in low administrative positions for almost a year, my contract will end in october, i have a chance of being promoted, but for that, there needs to be room in the company, and 2 new employees just got hired to the position that would be mine if i got a promotion, so i doubt there'll be room for me by then.
>can't find a better job, been applying to every job i see on linkedin and other job searching websites
>don't even get emails or calls asking me to show up to an interview i'm starting to think most of the jobs i've been applying to don't even exist. my mom says that i should be patient, but i only have around 3 and a half months, i don't have time to be patient, i feel like in 10 years i'll be a 30yo loser if i don't start growing up in the job market by now
>stuck in a major at college that i feel i like have no room to grow, don't even think i can enter the job market with that diploma, just keep going to college because i'll finish it in one year, don't have any skills in that area, can't even get hired as a part-timer, in fact, the only interview i did for a part time job in the area i had to refuse because it paid way less than my current part-time job
>if i don't get a new job by october, i won't have any way to help my mom with our debts
>if i my mom don't pay the debts, her car will be seized
>without her car she also won't be able to work (she can't get to work without her car because there's no way to get there using public transport)
are manual labor jobs the only way out of it? if i get one of those i don't see myself getting out of them since they take away all of your time (in my country they're incredibly underpaid and infamous for on top of having to work six days a week you also have to do lots of unpaid overtime, even when the law says otherwise. so i don't know if i'd be able to study or even look for another job while working in one of these jobs)
