Any of you fellas work in architecture?
I'm a second-year interior architecture student in New Zealand.
My academic work is pretty good, but I don't know much about the actual practice.
Do you fellas have any advice for someone who has no fucking clue what they're doing lmao?
Advice about literally anything is helpful, man. Eg:
> What does the average work day look like for an entry-level cad monkey?
> How stressful is the workload?
> Is networking with other students helpful?
> What kind of stuff should I add to my CV or portfolio when I apply for work?
> Where can I get practical experience while studying?
> What type of work do new graduates usually do?
> What kind of training is provided?
> What software are we expected to be good at?
> What type of shit should I avoid doing when I apply, or when I start working?
> What are some good and bad skills/traits you want/don't want in new workers?
