Is it a problem if I always make jokes with everyone and nobody can tell if im serious, retarded, a slacker or something-or-other. When someone tells something to me I heard before I just perk up and start doing movie references that matches up with whatever thing they said and they're like "what are you talking about?" and i explain and theyre like okay cool - not really appreciative. I just cant have a normal conversation. Its always double entendres, references or funny voices

References are only effective if shared culturally. Try learning more broad styles of comedy or consume more media types and understand your demographics. Get better. Try not to always be "on". You'll burn yourself out anyway and seem weird to people that liked you when you were "on".
