Is there a skill that:
>can be self-taught.
>can let me earn a living or at least give me a huge advantage in the job market.
>will not be totally overtaken by AI in the next decade.

I am living on a form of autismbux and a condition for that is that I can not work another job or get a formal education as long as I am in this program.
I have bad daydreams in which the welfare system collapses and the disabled are left to fend for themselves.
Having a plan B would give me some peace of mind.

If you are on neetbux focus on living a balanced life before self-actualizing.

CAD/Drafting and CAM Programming

Just pirate Solidworks or start with something free like Fusion 360 or Onshape.
Mastercam or Esprit for CAM.
Buy a used GD&T coursebook and do some reading on proper dimensioning, tolerancing, and surface finish notation.
Being able to design parts that are application-appropriate, possible to manufacture, and designed within the limitations of the scope of the project are going to be out of reach of AI for a rather long time.
Also a good idea to take some vocational courses in welding, machining, and basic electrical.

Unlicensed trade work.
Im gonna do a side job soon and make probably $500 profit for just less than a days work.
To be fair i learned what i know on a job but i didn't go to school or anything. If i was motivated i could have just been working for myself by now if i tried advertising or saying yes to every job no matter how far they are.

>self-taught.
That only works if you have been taught the bare basics by someone else. Would you hire a self taught barber or electrician? No, you wouldn't.
You have to spend money to make money and proper education is one of those things.
>can let me earn a living or at least give me a huge advantage in the job market.
Anything worthwhile in life requires 3 things: commitment, accountability and socialization/networking and you being an autist means you struggle with all 3. There is no shortcut, no alternative, not cheat code, NOTHING. If you truly want something you will have to enroll and pay for a course, be around other people (online or offline) and not miss classes or homework just because you had a panic attack. Nobody is perfect of course, you will have hiccups but as long you keep going you probably eventually will get there.
>will not be totally overtaken by AI in the next decade.
>>33248783 said, but you need to be in top shape. If you try to do manual jobs as a NEET you won't even last a year before your mind and body break down and can no longer keep up. If you truly care about safety then its time to hit the gym.

1. Touch-typing.
2. In technical interviews, explaining your reasoning even if the conclusion isn't necessarily correct.
