I live with my mom in an increasingly bad neighborhood.

We are the only ones who actually do anything about any issue that happens.

Kids hutting cars/fences? We call them off.

Loud ass music at 4am? We are the ones who call the police.

Lots of strange animals/pets on the loose? Somehow we are the only ones annoyed by them running around barking and trying to bite people.

Its real early in the morning and one of our neighbors has just made their music louder. The neighborhood group chat is awfully quiet right now. The same group who bitches nonstop about the most random things somehow doesnt cannot notice the drunks blasting country music for 5+ hours.

I dunno if we are asking too much, but asking people to join up and take action is the most difficult thing we can ask apparently.

Sorry for the bad english. Not that sorry since its 3am tho

We are tired of being the only ones willing to do something. Its extremely difficult to have people take action. We had a security guard who took care of these things but no one wanted to pay up. He was replaced by an iron gate because now literally no one was able to get around that/not pay. Now the people have stuffed the place with cars from fuck knows where.

You can't fix poor people behaviour. You can only leave the neighbourhood, with more educated people, and less hoodlums
