They keep calling you until you do. And then they rob your pinebox or ashes to see if they can find any fillings they can sell. And hound your loved ones til they die and can harvest fillings.

So if you literally own nothing you can just debbtmax and never pay it back?

Obviously not buying stuff, but food, rent, vacations, events, that kind of thing.

No. They can eventually take you to court and have the system there force you to pay money back. If you don't pay those, you go to jail.

Nobody wants my stianed mattress on the floor, paint peeling and table, outdated netbook and heavily torn/scratched computer chair. No other property to my name.

Actually looked this up, and it appears that (in USA) you cannot be incarcerated for inability to pay debts, but may be required to appear in court and proclaim "Your honor, I do not have the means of repaying these debts."

Generally speaking they'll just haunt you over the years. Like oh you've found a job? Unless you're working illegally they'll start looking for a way to subtract something from it(if your country's labour laws allow you to demand being paid in cash that's the way to avoid it, also good for dodging child support btw), the different court orders will tank your credit scores, it may even reflect on things like insurance rates.
You can live like that if you own nothing to your name but you'll always be dependant for let's say a wife or mother who technically owns the property you're on, your relatives have to write wills where they exclude you but your share of inheritance goes to that proxy etc. etc.

Plus, obviously, if you can't control your debtmaxxing you'll end up being victim of more aggressive debt collecting tactics of some loan shark. By more aggressive I mean hire thugs to break his knees kind of aggressive.

Lots of anons report just maxing out credit cards, then filing for bankruptcy and nothing happens except ruined credit score and never getting any kind of loan or rental, which isn't a problem if you're actually broke and own nothing of value.

They will probably laugh at you and then give you a final date to repay them lest you go to court.

Well think about it in terms of the next 10 years, as I've said if you have someone you can absolutely trust to work as a proxy you can do it.

They cut a deal for extended payments, to get something out of you, if only a dollar a week

I used to work debt collection, I would like to sympathise but then again most customers thought they didn't have to pay because they are "depressed", yet that didn't stop them getting a brand new top tier iphone on credit
