Can the trauma from sex work ever be undone?

A lot of sex workers have trauma histories: childhood abuse, domestic violence, sexual assault. That doesn’t mean everyone does, but there’s a very real link. And clubs can retraumatize you without you even realizing it. Constant objectification, blurred boundaries, being touched when you don’t want to be, all of that adds up fast.

What trauma? Have you ever actually done any sex work yourself, or are you just imagining what it's like?

No
You can however accept it, manage it and move past it while understanding you're able to move forward in life
Difficult but possible

More or less this: >>33257770

Trauma can't be undone, it sticks with you forever. You'd need to develop amnesia to lose trauma. So the way to work with it is accept it and stop fighting it, turning the pain into wisdom, and using it as a source of growth, which is painful and hard but it is doable.

this is why I tell my sugar babies to always keep it like a side thing with people they get good recommendations about, the difference between talking to some girls that have worked on brothels and strip clubs and the ones that were sugar babies during college and eventually married and left it all behind is like night and day.
One didn't listen to me, she was too caught up in drugs and wanted a lot of quick money easy and went to become one of those escorts you see online
I talked to her and she was a hollow husk of her former self
some very deranged people are out to make others suffer as much as they've suffered it seems, they don't go out to fuck the girls they go out to damage them.

i fucked guys in my youth for money. i'm fine. i spent it mostly on weed and video games. it's the oldest profession, and some people are forced into it, which i can understand trauma for, but otherwise, if it's of your own accord, you should be fine. are you talking about yourself op? elaborate on your situation.

Yeah all those well adjusted, educated healthfully social prostitutes who grew up in loving homes and had no issues.

well girls that went the sugar baby route for a while and left it while they only had a handful of dudes as sugar daddies don't behave any differently than other girls who had a couple bfs in college to be completely honest.
it's the ones that put ads online or go work at brothels that end up traumatized.
