I have close ties to nationals in BRICS member states (gf, as well as people that I tutor from Egypt, UAE, Iran and Indonesia) and my parents were born in foreign states, but have been citizens for a while at this point.

I am American born, but I wanted to know if this information is enough for just cause to be denied on foreign influence grounds alone.

Are you a dual national? If so you'll need to renounce your foreign citizenship before you can get a security clearance.
