> Be me
> Make more money than you've ever made in your life
> Save most of it
> Get laid off
> Instead of looking for work, dick around for nearly a year burning money and time on savings, guitar lessons and gear, hookers, some "girlfriend", lending people money, projects that are not lucrative in any way
> Spend the money you put aside for taxes on living expenses. Don't do taxes
> Start looking for work the day you have 0 dollars and all credit maxed out
> Realize that none of your skills are marketable anymore and even if they were, the job market is horse shit
> Get pings every few hours about how you're behind on bills and notifications about how your credit is being wrecked
It's beem about 2 months since that day where i hit $0. I've made no meaningful process finding a job. It's now hitting me that this year will put me behind the 8 ball for the rest of my life. I will never get out from under this. In a couple months my student loans will leave forbearance, those will be like 600-700 a month. I've checkmated myself from life, and I have no one to blame but me. I don't know how to move forward but I'm open to any suggestions at this point.
