What's the easiest way to commit suicide?

I don't want to hear any red herrings, give it to me straight I've heard it all. I live in Australia and i can't get an easy access to a gun. Ideally I'd like a pill that just puts me permanently to sleep. Is going to switzerland and using a death pod allowed or is that only for terminally ill?

I'm not sad or happy, i feel like an empty vessel. I'm as nihilist as it gets, i have no concept or desire for morality, relationships, sex, career prospects or hobbies.

I'd probably go for an inert asphyxiant, personally. CO works faster but it also poisons your blood, so up to you. CO2, He, NO2, and others are totally harmless if you get a canister and a mask. You'll just fall asleep. NO2 has the benefit of a bit of euphoria as well, but it can also make you dizzy or give you a headache as well.

Before you try, take psychedelics (moderate dose at least). Might as well give getting better one more try if you truly have the gun to the root of your mouth, right? Worst case scenario if you're truly decided on dying you can just die after that, but give it ONE MORE try.

Actually if there is any other avenue of getting better possible (serious self-work, therapy/counselling, medication, etc.) that you haven't tried, try that first. Psychedelics can be a blast and life-changing in the most positive ways, but they are serious business. They can make you seriously self reflect and can be difficult. Again, take these words with a grain of salt and do research.
