Hey guys, I've been pretty lonely for the past year or so since I cut contact with my friends.

Anyways, I feel like porn helps me cope a little, but can porn also make my mental health worse in the long run? I mean like, feeling even worse and more sad for being lonely and stuff like that.

it depends but generally if you see a group of people having a good time and you feel alienated from it then yeah it could be detrimental
also violent porn when you don't have normal interaction with people to contrast them with

in general it depends on the type of porn you consume but I'd tackle the not having social interactions more urgently than your porn habits to be honest, that's the main thing that might conduce to everything else being potentially bad for you.

I been trying to, and I met some people over the past year... But it's just not the same.
My prior friends were really cool back in high school, idk what happened to them after it to be so careless about me man.

Anyways, I'm a GC with some of my classmates and their friends. I meet up with them like, once a week I would say but they only wanna go to the beach or eat dinner. I want to do more fun stuff dude and sometimes they even make plans without me.

I've sworn not to look up porn in january this year. 5 months later, i still randomly think of the things i saw as old as 7 years ago, it's permanent damage to the worst. I've never had a girlfriend so this is my idea of intimacy, idea which i can never forget. Your best bet is to quit it as soon as possible (but it will be very hard i promise you) and hope that one day you forget everything, that you live with a pure heart.
