Recent college grad here. It's pretty tough in the job market, even for STEM majors. I recently got a job offer, and it's super good. The problem is that the offer is contingent on having the COVID vaccine. While the company is medical device related, I would just be doing IT, so it is not like I am near anyone or working in a hospital. I refuse to take the vaccine because of personal and religious beliefs. They do indicate to let them know if I need an exemption, I am wondering what is the best strategic way to go about this? Be super open about beliefs and try to be super respectful about it? Or be vague and just say I don't have it? I got a college exemption years ago, using religious beliefs, but I am guessing they might be more strict here. Obviously getting it is not an option, but it's going to hurt if I am denied this job after getting an offer.
