I'm 27, from Baltimore City, and am a first time offender. This occurred in Baltimore County. I'm typing this from the hospital I was admitted to Saturday night. I don't remember much due to shock but I do know I specifically was speeding and had swerved to avoid a deer, but then lost control of the steeeing as ot ping ponged me back and forth.
We went barreling up a hill and into a tree. My wife was the passenger and thank God she's ok and only had to be at the hospital for 5 hiurs compared to my probably 5 days. We had had 5 ciders at around 12-4 earlier that day. Then I had 2 glasses of wine at around 6. I was definitely tipsy. I feel awful about this.
Anyway, we were taken to the hospital after the crash. Before I went into surgery (possibly after) a police officer handed me a citation paper.

On the citation paper and on MD court search online, it lists no probable cause nor BAC anywhere weirdly.

Don't drink and drive, and if you do stick to dirt roads and obey all other traffic laws. It's the only way to get away with it. Don't drive drunk in the city, you'll get arrested.
