Therapy is for women and children. As men, we must take full ownership of our lives. Realize that no one really cares about you outside of your mother, and even that isn't guaranteed. This doesn't mean you should be discouraged towards connecting with people, but you must understand that people will only deal with you at first when you provide some type of utility. Through cultivation of a charming personality, and displays of selfless offerings(helping someone move furniture/helping an old lady with her lawn work/etc) you gain trust and respect. Trust and respect is how a man knows he is loved. If you were someone else, what would you trust yourself with? Are you good at a skill/service? Are you good at listening and keeping information to yourself? Do you keep your physical appearance in a respectable manner? If someone asks a friend or family member about your character, what would they be able to say about you?
