I’m having trouble downloading Autodesk Maya but Blender seems to have the most traction for artists looking to make money. Maya has an easy interface but I’m wondering if it’s too huge of a departure to be accustomed to maya in a realistic amount of time? Rhinoceros is something I already have but does anybody know the strengths and weaknesses to the lot of them before I invest more time into any of them?

I tend to believe that Maya is more common in industry, at least that is the case in my country.
Blender is for poors and indies really.
Rhinoceros is just CAD no? Never used it.
If you want a job Maya is probably your best bet - check what industry uses in your area.
Generally the skills transfer though.
