Should I get adult braces? Are there any anons who have them can give me a run down of how daily life goes with them? Will my jawline get sharper? Will I get more girls due to my straightened teeth? How long did it take for you to get them out? Yes I went to an actual dentist and they told me I need them.

Im in the same boat as you, just went to a dentist today and they recommended it. It might suck and be extra awkward for a little while, but the end result is is well worth it, basically essential.
Having straight perfect white teeth is ALWAYS important. Having a smile is like literally the most important thing. Without a good one, you're basically as subhuman as a fat person.

t. 2 years of braces when I was 28, it sucked and was finished off with 6 months of invisalign

It's not as bad as most people have. Some overcrowding and misalignment here and there.

if your mouth is anything like mine, your teeth will straighten and align but your gums will recede and then they'll tell you you need rooting and planing every time and eventually grafts and then your teeth will get loose anyway by the time you're 40 and you'll need implants for $2450/ea.

don't even bother. it's just your dentist guaranteeing future income streams
