>be me
>have $100 gift card since beginning of year
>tried to think of ways to use it, already have 80k+ in the bank
>randomly thought of the idea of buying some stuff for my gameboy SP thats been sitting around in my closet for years
>bought new game and charger, like $15 each
>found out my old battery is basically a fire hazard
>buy a new one for another $15
>find out my controls dont even work
>buy a set of special screwdrivers for $15
>buy 99% rubbing alcohol for $10 and Q-tips
>taxes and delivery add up
>most of gift card basically gone
>run back home from the gym, fixing up this little toy like an overgrown manchild
>still couldnt get my GBA SP controls to work
>tune into the news
>Iran getting blown up
>poor people who wish they had $100 to spare
>meanwhile I'm trying to fix this 2 decade old shitcan for god knows why
>feel like an ass clown
Now I feel like such a nerd for even bother trying to fix this piece of shit up. What was I thinking? I've never made impulse purchases but now I feel like a jackass. I could've spent those $100 on something meaningful.. or something that'd actually work.

I regularly donate 10% of my income to a church that actively teaches that brown people are bad but they still do a lot of third world humanitarian work, and they have humanitarian missions that I will probably go on at some point. Step up your charity game fag
