There's this short girl at my work who I always catch staring at me. I'm 6'3" and she's not even 5'
Always nice and cheery, always waving at me. It's one thing to be cordial with coworkers, but she seems to go out of her way.
If I make a Facebook and see that she's single, should I shoot my shot online over the weekend? She could have a bf, but she used to have an engagement ring and now she doesn't.

Don't bother stalking her online first - if it's a no just take it in your stride and move on, maintaining whatever cordial niceties you have going on at the minute. If she ends up single at some point she'll remember you and shoot her shot if she's up for it.

Just ask her out in a normal way. If she says yes, then success. If she says no, then either you were imagining her looking at you, or she's trying to play some bullshit games with you. Either way if no, then ignore her.
