That's the whole fucking purpose, isn't it?

What a retarded question, you yourself answered it already.

Nothing is stopping you from enjoying things you can still access, it's the ones you can't that hurt

Old mcdonalds mascots, xbox live pregame chat, confetti car seats and weird gba cartridges (Boktai 2 my beloved) will forever be a hole in my heart I cant fill, but grief is just love with nowhere to go.

time goes on and so do the good times, you can't experience them again because it's already something that's in the past. well, you can experience windows vista for example, as it is in the image of your post, but you will not have the same energy that you had in the past while experiencing this. nostalgia makes everyone sad, not just you, it's a very intense feeling. but you'll have to accept that everything is evolving over time, including you and me, and nothing lasts forever. if you want to know more about old windows virtual machines, you can simply search it up or ask on >>>/g/ stuff about it.

You're saying nostalgia isn't what it used to be?

It feels that nothing good happens anymore, everything is so polished and minimalistic.
