Thinking of going to Romania to find a spouse. My spoken Romanian is meh, but I know enough to get around. I also considered Moldova/Belarus/Ukraine, but I thought it would be a better to get someone from the same ethnic background. Any advice on going to Romania or Eastern Europe for this purpose, i.e., meeting marriage-worthy girls?

The girls over there that I have seen are ridiculously beautiful. Especially the ones with a slight bit of turkish in them - you know, death pale with black eyes and hair. Had 1st almost 2nd Gen Serbian in my High School - most beautiful girl I have ever physically seen. Something between Eva Green and Monica Belucci.

My sisters look like that. I came out with lighter features and look more northern Slav than standard Romanian

Acquired through ancestry albeit technically a citizen since birth. Parents both born in Romania. If your mom has a valid Romanian passport, it’s easy to get yours
