What's wrong with asking or telling people you're looking for a gf/wife and if they know anyone

Online dating is bottom of the barrel and cold approach is damn near impossible.

Where the fuck are you supposed to get a gf/wife.

It's nothing wrong with it, you just need to know a lot of people and mostly women.

Having friends "fix you up" is an ancient and honorable tradition and, before online sites of the Tinder sort, was the main way anyone got to meet each other

Nothing is wrong with that.
That’s how to do things. It works if you are looking for a house, car, job. There oughtta be a name for whatever that’s called. You don’t even need to know a lot of people because they know other people. Speaking about your intentions is a good way of obtaining your goals.

Nothing. I was introduced to my wife by mutual friends who thought we'd hit it off well. They were right, we did. Got married a few years later, will be celebrating our 29th anniversary in a few months.

because if you aren't able to get other women to even go on a date with you, then there's a high likelyhood you'll be an undesirable sperg on a date especially since women want men who are wanted and it sounds like you've literally opted out of the dating pool.
You a bro sets you up and you fuck it up and she doesn't like you, then that makes him look like shit and strains his friendship. They're only gonna set you up if they know you are attractive and interesting enough to hit it off well.
So yes, a modern average guy is even locked out of warm approach too.

There's absolutely nothing wrong with that. I've asked for introductions to several people that I dated in the past. Not all of them went anywhere, but it's worth a try and it's less toxic.

God, you young people are stupid as fuck. This is why you faggots are single. Asking your friends to set you up on a date with someone they know and you don't is old as shit and the norm.

Online dating isn't bottom of the barrel, there are plenty of normal people on there looking for serious relationships. I know several friends married to good women they met on dating apps. The only consistent pattern I noticed from people on the apps is that they tend to not have huge friend groups but that's not a red flag.

If you don't have a big social network that's throwing mixers and parties every weekend, you should go to events and/or hobby things that let you meet people, like yoga or run club or whatever. A friend of mine met his gf at a Dr. Who fan club.

This. OLD is becoming mainstream. Even your non-complete whore normie girls are on there now cause there's no other option and it's so normalized.

That's probably the first thing to try.

Dunno. I've tried it for a bit and most girls I saw on there looked like shallow basic bitches based on their profiles.

Idk I was just horny in my area and eventually someone I was horny with was trustworthy and I was like "Honestly I'd rather be with you than anyone else" and she was like "Yeah same".

>Where the fuck are you supposed to get a gf/wife.
that's an impossible question
because if there was an answer, people would crowd it and ruin it by trying to turn it into some hookup fest
the reality is that dating is a stupid idea, marriages should have stayed as arranged things and you should have grown up together with your wife
now it's just 10 times the drama and the hassle, because people thought they were smarter than what they actually are
