The engineering school has only 55 seats available and offers dormitory, while med school has over 400 seats and no dorms and rent next to it is super expensive, drive from home will take 40 minutes.
should this be enough to choose engi ?

Are you asking short term, which is better option the thing closer and more convenient?
Or are you asking long term, which career field will I work and not want to kill myself after many years of doing it?

Because the answer to both aren't the same

Wether I choose med or engineering I'll be there for At least 6 years so the convenience aspect is so important,
also engineering school here is so hard and competitive so Idk
you can answer both if it's ok

I would not want to be treated by a doctor who chose med school on the basis of the commuting time.

So do you have any other basis I could rely on to choose med school? Better than convenience?

I won't read career choice threads, posted by subhuman morons who expect the reader to do OP's thinking for him and to decide OP's direction in life.

I clearly asked for advice and not to decide for me, if you can't differentiate between these two then I'm glad you are not replying for this thread

Anon, the only thing that should matter here is, do you want to be an engineer or do you want to be a doctor? Everything else should be irrelevant.

The thing is, I wanted to be a doctor since I were a child, but I feel like this goal comes from the fact that I can't do engineering, like I know I can't be an engineer so that's why I chose being a doctor instead.
So I really don't know if I want to be a doctor because I like medicine or because I can't settle for something more challenging..
Nevertheless I still like both and I feel like both are good..

Being a doctor is not just a job. It has to be almost a religious calling, the thing you feel you were born to do. Otherwise you WILL be bad at it
