Movie is actually not a good first date. The whole point is to chat and get to know each other, and it's hard to do that while staring at a screen. If you can shuffle it, do the walking around and stopping for a snack BEFORE topping it off with a movie.

If OP hasn't gone on the date yet, flowers are a good idea, especially because its seen by lots of women as old-fashioned and chivalrous, dont listen to anyone else in the thread who says not to give her them. I agree with everyone saying that movies are a bad idea, I'd suggest either a nice dinner, pottery, or painting? If you know any of the things she's interested in, try to take that into account (like if she likes to read, take her to the bookstore).

Yeah, a couple:
1- Don't be retarded.
2- Just be yourself.
I know that's cliché to say, but she agreed to the date because she's got interest in you. The more natural you are, the better things will go. Just do the stuff and interact like it's a normal day.

I always liked Ikea dates. There's good parking. There's a restaurant or cafe. You can sit there and talk. You can walk through the display area together and talk about the rooms (how would you like a living room like that?) you can sit on the couches, you can even lie on the beds if you dare. You can go through the market area and buy her a plushy animal or a plant? Or some women decoration shit.
