I quit drinking back in september after I day drank one saturday and had severe panic attacks for 4 days following that. I still dont know if it was withdrawals or just in my head, I was only a weekend binger and only ever drank beer

Do you guys think I really am an alcoholic or that I could go back to drinking? Everyone in AA obviously thinks im an alcoholic

Honestly, if you're asking yourself if you're an alcoholic, then you have a drinking problem. You're probably not a full-blown alcoholic yet, but it would definitely be better to stop drinking before you become one.

I'm fairness he's been dry since September, I don't think he's a total alcoholic.
But op alcohol can cause serious mental health issues especially while hungover/detoxing. Sleep is effected and I've even hallucinated a bit after a bender.

Keep trying. At some point you'll get the big prize. Psychosis.

Yeah, like that matters. Alcohol makes existing anxiety worse. You have other issues, once you approached that, you can drink normally again.
