Can you repair the brainrot acquired from being terminally online for decades?
I believe that my constant internet usage from the ages of 8 through 26 have damaged my irl skills in all faculties.
Is quitting the internet the only solution?

Detoxxing is absolutely possible. You don't have to delve to another extreme either, you just have to have other shit to do besides the internet, preferably for the first few hours after you wake up. Your most productive time (whether you feel so or not) is within 1-4 hours after waking up, and whatever you do with that time becomes your habit. If you roll around in bed scrolling on your phone, or hop straight on your PC to dick around, don't. Get up, do hygiene, do some chores, go outside, exercise, get some work done, THEN go play vidya or doomscroll. Changing habits isn't about leaving the things you enjoy behind, it's about balancing them responsibly so that they don't set the tone for your whole day, or rob you of the ability to do other things. If you can spend the first part of your day being productive, then dick around with the rest, you'll get there.

Yes, by being terminally offline for even more decades.
