Did I mess up? I did shrooms a few months ago, nothing crazy I've done them before a few times. This time was really bad though. I had the worst trip I've experienced. To sum it up without going into detail, I had anxiety so bad I couldn't move. These past few months after the trip I keep getting horrible anxiety, like when I'm at work it's gotten bad enough I'm shaking or sometimes all it takes is a bad thought and I feel like I need to throw up. Is there a fix to this? or did I mess up my head? Also I've never really had an anxiety problem.

I won't read shroom threads. While self-medication, in principle and done responsibly, has its place, gratuitous intoxication of any sort is invariably destructive.

Yes.
Hallucinogenics are powerful substances that change your brain forever.

It's possible the shrooms are the cause of this, but it's unlikely. A more probable scenario is that you were beginning to develop anxiety anyway, and the shrooms simply exposed it. Either way, you should talk to a doctor and/or therapist.

>Is there a fix to this? Or did I mess up my head?

There's no fix. But that's okay because it doesn't need fixed, it eventually goes away. I did heroic dose of shrooms too, had a heroic bad trip, nightmare trip from Hell. I know what you mean when you say
>I had anxiety so bad I couldn't move

Yes same lol I was curled up fetal position for 6 hours straight getting my ass kicked by spooky psychedelic entities. What a trip.

Anyway you got traumatized is all. That's what's going on. That takes a while to fizzle down. 6-12 months you'll be fine. Maybe sooner if you get good at not being good. By that I mean, just accept the anxiety and don't fight it. Eventually it leaves you sooner than later. Fighting it just prolongs it.

You could go to a therapist, but they'll only offer shit like CBT, cognitive behavioral therapy, which is just easy to regulate your thoughts using smart strategies. It's helpful. Don't expect them to understand anything about psychedelics though. They only know about the outward behaviours or symptoms of it, but nothing of the internal workings that they invoke. Psychedelics are a complete mystery that way

Shrooms are poison. You have to be next level savage to withstand shroom effects. Don't do the drugs for 10 years and you'll feel better.
