You're assigned to me, I understand. But you have to understand that I am here for information gathering - not to make friends or because I relate in any way. It's a cliché at this point to say anon, but social media doesn't show what these people's lives are really like, it's a facade. People only post the good stuff, they post shit to make them cool. They don't take a pic of them being awkward at a party and not being able to get in the vibe and connect with anyone. They don't share pics of them screaming at their girlfriend and making her cry, leading to them breaking up. They only post them having fun with the bros and going to cool parties and shit, then they strike a performative pose to show how happy they are and how much fun they are having and right after the snap their happy expression wipes off their face and body and they go back to completely neutral (I've seen people do it, it looks freaky).

Bro people have been saying social media makes people depressed and that it's all fake and shit for years. Now you've found out.
