I agree with them. There is more to attraction and forming a couple than looks. Generally speaking, people (not just woman) want a partner that makes them feel happy, that will bring joy to their lives, and safe in every aspect: emotionally, financially, relationship-wise, etc.

Of course, looks are the first thing a person sees, but if a person can transmit the idea that they are able to provide safety and happiness to the other person, then looks can be at least partially ignored.
