Running, hiking, even swimming doesn't take long to learn.

Mountain biking, I used to do it a lot with my dad when I was a kid and it's pretty fun. Hardest part is finding trails.

skateboarding or roller skating

Both are relatively cheap to get into, sub 100(if you buy a complete, if you get something more custom then i'd say 200), and it takes a while to get good and theres lots to learn.

It's a fun feeling and very rewarding as you progress, plus it teaches you tenacity.
