I think the problem is if you are dating men off of here, most men on here have anime/vidya ect as a "hobby" which is consumptive in nature. It isnt just something they do, but most people base their personalities on things they see in media. Iv even seen the argument that most people personalities are based on a Shakespeare character, just based on iterations of those base "types" of human.

People who live "alternative" lifestyles, whether it be living on a sailboat, cabin in the woods, someone who goes outside the traditional employment lifestyle while living in the big city, any of these things, are the sort of people who are more likely to not value society in general.
