I have this problem where it’s really difficult to start peeing, when I do start peeing it doesn’t flow well it flows really weak, and can never get all the pee out. And I also have to pee frequently
In order to start peeing, I close my eyes, hold my breath, run the area like above my buttcrack, and if I’m really having trouble I knock things over or rip up my toilet paper. Sometimes instead of doing this I just force myself to poop even when there’s nothing in there and the pee comes easier.
Once I do get started, I have to bear down and strain in order to get a fairly nice stream, just letting it flow out without bearing down just isn’t good enough.
I fucking hate this. It takes so much time and pissing doesn’t feel good anymore. I want to be able to have pissing just be as simple as me deciding I want to piss, and then the pee comes out like a normal person. In fact, I want to be able to pee at literally any place and literally any time.
Today I tried to pee like a normal person; just sit on the toilet and relax until it comes out. It didn’t work. Nothing came out. I sat there for who knows how long with the worst feeling in my bladder like I had to go really bad until I just gave up and used my usual method, and when I did I decided to try not to bear down and just let it flow and there’s more left over than usual.
For some background, there was a period of time some years back of like 4 months where I was only peeing 3 times a day and holding my pee for as long as I could, so I don’t know if that might’ve caused this. I always had kind of a shy bladder but it got worse after that.

Forgot to explicitly write my question but it’s, yknow, how can I be able to pee whenever I want to, wherever I want to without having to go through all this shit, like a normal person.

Prostate or pelvic floor tightness.
Try doing the blowing out through a coffee (tiny) straw when you sit down to piss.

Ah, and get one of those uti kits from the walk-in pharmacy to check for an infection. An ignored UTI can happen after holding pee for too long, or not emptying.

Holy fuck anon, this post is almost like me but that last sentence just probably confirmed my permanent bladder damage from one time holding in my pee too long around January 2021. I fucking hate I have to constantly piss, I could literally sit on the toilet for over an hour and little bits of pee would just keep coming out, I have to push my pee out just to try get as much as I can out. I'm not even old either, this started when I was 20 and now I'm 24.

This is without the worst mistake of my life because it's actually ruining my life because I'm so hesitant on getting jobs now where I can't have frequent bathroom breaks, I might just legitimately wear diapers during my shifts because I currently have no electricity now and I need a job fast and I have a job interview less than 12 hours from now. It's hell, nobody ever hold in your piss or you'll become just like me and OP in this cursed life.

Also forgot to mention that I too have to hold my breath, shake my hands like I have parkinson's, and just push my pee. I have to keep doing it until I feel complete, then have to rush to my bed and use my thighs to keep my bladder tight and then hopefully get an erection to keep my bladder tight during my sleep. If I don't do this correctly then I just hsve to immediately get up and piss again, rn just holding in my bladder tight.

I’m OP. My sympathies to you. It probably is permanent bladder damage considering our similar circumstances and experiences. And I’m also young.
It’s over.

But ok, say that it’s not permanent bladder damage. If the issue was just one of these two, how could I fix it?

Go to a urologist, you might have a stricture in your urethra and need an operation for it. They can check it out with a cystography and retrograde urethrogram.
