How can I find my "dream?" You know, the thing they always ask kids and teenagers. I don't have any clue on what I want to do in the "adult world" whatsoever. I have never known.

How do I find this inspiration? For some little context I have been home schooled almost all my life (my teens anyways) and I didn't develop any particular skills. Due to this I am kind of useless when it comes to perusing any job because 1. I probably couldn't do it and 2. I don't have any ideas on what to approach because I don't know what I want to do.

How did you, fellow anons, navigate finding your "dream?" Or are you simply wait for it to be "revealed" to you, as I feel forced to?

You create a dream. Dream smart, pick something that actually pays money

First thing is that you must have agency in your own life.
You must be the boss of yourself.
If you want something, you go there and get it.
I suspect you do not have agency in your own life and you are living in passivity.
Having a dream, isn't exactly something important. I have a dream to buy and restore a third gen Camaro, but this is far from my current reality, so it doesn't really affects my life in any meaningful way.

This is what has been told to me over the years, but unfortunately it's a bit more complex than I have let on. I am from South Africa and the youth unemployment rate here is ridiculous, like 60+%. Jobs here are seemingly just luck based.

What jobs are sought after around the world? Ones that preferably don't need 5+ year to get a degree

I am afraid I don't understand. How would agency help me to find something I want to or could do? Sorry if I sound stupid

If you can't see it directly, zero in on it.

Picture your life 10 years from now. Ignore specific like what job you'll have but get a sesne of the feel of it.

Will you be married or single? Kids? Living in city/cuburbs/country/other? Working with your brain/hands/muscles/other? Solo work or in a team? Office/factory/store/farm/other? Wearing suit/casual/uniform/overalls/other? Primary interface with coworkers/customers/machines/keyboard/screen/other?

Are you White? If you're a nigger then no, we don't want you anywhere; you ruined your own country and will ruin any other.

I am white, but unfortunately we are often underpaid when going to other countries for work... (based on what my friends have told me)
