Two different doctors have prescribed me two different treatments to the same problem, but I'm conflicted about which one I should choose.
>Doctor A has known me for quite some time now, but prescribed a very expensive treatment.
>Doctor B, who's much older (and *probably* more knowledgeable), prescribed a more affordable treatment.
Before seeking their help I tried to solve the problem by myself, of course, but with no avail. Sorry about the poor grammar, I'm an esl.

I have a similar problem. I have migraines that I can fix two different ways.
1) Fast for two weeks, which is cheap and proven effective and will completely get rid of my migraines for somewhat longer than a year, after which I'll have to fast again.
2) Take the prescription my neurologist prescribed, which costs $20k/year, and will likely reduce my migraines by about 30%.

I don't know what to do fellow anons, which choice should I take?

thread is totally worthless without description of actual diagnosis and the medicines being considered
