Should I buy Crash Bandicoot Trilogy or Kingdom Come Deliverance 1?
Both are about the same price in my country thanks to summer sale.

Crash Bandicoot has terrible primitive gameplay imo
Kingdom Come is a pretty slow burn I got bored when I tried it but it seems like a legit RPG, better than Witcher 3 at least

Didn't think those still existed.

I won't read vidya-addled threads. They're a waste of time and the people who play them are a waste of air.

Crash Bandicoot isn't that good. It was good in the year 1996.

KCD1 is very good, the worldbuilding and story is excellent, though I felt the early game can be a bit frustrating since success is surprisingly stat based.

BTW, just as a fan of history, one thing that I thought was particularly cool about it was that the main character isn't an important hero, and realistically he could have died before completing the game's main quest and not much would have really changed. But the most interesting thing to me is that they made the game center around an actual historical event that was quite obscure, and not that important to the larger picture. Its events revolve around a quasi civil war in medieval Bohemia after the reign of King Charles IV where the rightful heir Wenceslas IV was ousted by his brother, Sigismund. Sigismund was successful in imprisoning his brother and taking over, but did not have the full support of the nobility so raised an army mostly of mercenaries to strongarm the holdouts. The main character of KCD happens to be a blacksmith's son from a town whose lord is one of the holdouts, and is captured and sacked by Sigismund at the start of the game to pay his mercenaries, killing his family and almost everyone he knew, burning his village to the ground, making the survivors penniless refugees. This is all based on a real event.

To me this did a great job of showing that even for historical incidents and conflicts that were in the larger picture not important, to the people caught up in it this ruined all their lives.

Kingdom Come, it'll feel worth it when you actually play it trust me. Crash is good too but the game is the literally same as the ps1 games, which you should emulate instead.

As a Crash fan I would only bother with N. Sane Trilogy if you're already a big fan of the franchise. It's an amazing remake but like others are saying, essentially just the original games modernised with extra features and challenges, e.g. cut levels and opportunity to get platinum relics in all three games. I got all achievements but unless you're a hardcore fan you probably won't have the patience. You are probably better off getting KCD1 and then N. Sane Trilogy if you have some extra cash.
