I'm 21 years old working a shitty minimum wage summer job and my life seems to be passing by so fast without me doing anything. My last year in college is after this summer and I don't even know what job I want. Time is ending quickly and it's hard not to despair.

To make this all the more worse my social life seems to be deteriorating with friends since they're usually busy and it's hard to coordinate things anymore.

That is very normal. All my college friends moved to various other states and we fell out of touch. The only thing I can suggest is do the best you can to gain employment in your area of study. You'll be fine. Metaphysical angst is very normal in this age range.

>I'm 21 years old working a shitty minimum wage summer job
Is it worth your time?
>and my life seems to be passing by so fast without me doing anything.
Life is short. Stress is natural, but you don't have to feel guilty about your situation.
>My last year in college is after this summer and I don't even know what job I want.
You picked an education to prepare you for a certain line of work that you don't even want? You may as well complete it at this point, but you don't have to pursue a career in the field you studied. It looks better on applications than having no education or work experience.
>Time is ending quickly and it's hard not to despair.
Why despair? What do you care about?

Best option would be to do a masters in a different field if you canโ€™t get a job

Just take the first job you are offered and never look back. There's no point to that. Just keep on walking to avoid wasting away because it can be your only chance.

Are you all trolling? Finding a job as a computer nerd is piss easy. Decent pay too.

what the fuck is up with the number of cs majors on this board that never even try to do their sophomore/junior summer internships?

not everyone can get a corpo internship but making some django backend thing in 10 weeks for your local accounting firm or whatever is better paying and a better job than being a burger wagie
