>ex-friend that I unfriended 3~ months ago sends a friend request out of the blue
>readd them solely because im curious what they have to say/want
>all they have to say is “hru”
Tf do they want? Surely they don’t wanna reconnect, it’s been more than 3 months obviously they’ve gotten over me by now. Why aren’t they just telling me outright what they want? It’s been 10 minutes since they’ve messaged and I am thinking of just bluntly asking them why they’re here but I don’t wanna be rude.
So weird.

Talking about me or them? Either way, how?
>>33318234
I just wanted to see what they had to say. Not like it’s permanent, I can always unadd them.

Also
If I’m being honest I’m just really lonely right now. I don’t really have anyone to talk to right now.
And honestly I wouldn’t have cared enough to want to see what they would have to say if I wasn’t in this lonely position.

Perhaps they're not over you, or perhaps they're just bored and want to shoot the shit with someone.
The only way to know is by asking them; and then you'd also need to take into account,
why the friendship failed in the first place, and assess, whether that's all water under the bridge now or not.
It's your life, your choice. You do you.

Why are you so suspicious? Why can't they still have sufficient good will to be curious how you're doing?

It’s mostly disappointment and confusion more than suspicion.
When I saw their friend request I was expecting something. I was expecting them to want back their money back from the gifts they bought me, or for them to be angry, or sad, or question me or something. I was expecting substance. I was expecting emotion.
I was expecting that they would have something to say.
But instead it’s just nothing, same old same old with no real reason. And I don’t really have anything to say to them either.
>Why can’t they still have sufficient good will to be curious how you’re doing?
I just don’t see why they’d feel like doing that. They had tried to send me a friend request a few days after I unadded them and I declined. Why again? Why now? Why would they even care anymore? Why did they ever care, really. It just doesn’t make sense.

Eh, it’s been 6 hours since they asked “hru”. Too late. I probably won’t message them again unless they send another message.
>>33318704
My choices have generally led to failure. I don’t have the social ability to make this choice.

6 hours is not too late, they wont even ask why you took so long and if they have moved on already thats it
