My aunt wants me to dog- and house-sit for her for 2-3 weeks. I've sit for her before, but only for 2-4 days so I don't ask for money. However, for 2-3 weeks I expect to be paid. I'm bad with money and too often offer to do things for free, so which of these seems like a smarter choice?

1.) Undercut the cheaper rates on house-sitting sites and ask for a flat amount for food and gas

2.) Ask for more, but don't ask for money for food and gas

Cheaper rates in the area are $50-60 a night. However, she's the type of person who would distrust a random person being in her house.
