As you know, in Texas we had a flooding and a bunch of people are missing or dead, while talking with some people resturant were in I said that as tragic as it is those people actively chose to live in a dangerous area so I didn't see why it's the govenrment's responsibility or the state's to solve their problems for them, nobody called me on it or got aggressive but I could tell they didn't like what I said because it was about a few seconds before they changed the subject to sports.

Full disclosure, these people are not my friends, they're just people I'm forced to work with so I don't care if I offended them I'm just worried this is gonna result in an HR visit on Monday

You were just ignorant towards the losses of other people you don't know. Your colleagues might think you are an ass, but you won't have to fear HR most likely

>I just told everyone I think people deserve to die?
>am I an asshole?

If your honest response to a tragedy is to state your personal opinions and beliefs, specially in the work place then yeah you should be very worried.

It's not ignorance, I just don't really care, I mean, nobody really cares about one another really they just say so because society in it's ever paradoxal glory frowns upon not caring about others even through everything in society rewards not caring about others.

First of all, I didn't say those people deserve to die, I just don't think they are entitled to any help when they had to have known the area was dangerous, look, if you're going to live somewhere known for years to be at risk of things like hurricanes, earthquakes, fires, tornadoes and fatal winters and not prepare for it, that's on you.

Looks like you did not have such disasters happen to you. Looks like you did not experience big losses in your life so far. I do not wish you to experience such things, but let me tell you that bad things might happen when you are expecting it least of all. Your supreme intelligence will not save you, if things go downhill rapidly and unexpected. Be grateful for what you have.

The speaker is a kike, actual or spiritual. The people died because NOAA has been drastically cut so that more military aid can be sent to "Israel" and tax cuts given to Trump's donors. Basically, the kikes murdered those people.

What you said was pretty cold hearted. Depending on how esteemed your workplace is, you may get a warning from HR, or possibly just fired for being psychotic.

Maybe you think like that because you werenโ€™t raised properly, but people like that tend to be worse off in life.

i'm with you bro i heard about that nigga roosting that judge or whatever as if it wasn't those camp counselor's jobs to make sure that the kids didn't drown, but what is the point of bringing it up, especially if you don't care what people think about you why even talk and piss people off it just makes shit harder on yourself

it's merciful to let the sheep blame "da gunbamit" because if people actually thought for two seconds then some half-innocent civilians could be held quite responsible for some serious losses

it is because the government used it's monopoly on violence to secure control over the 25ghz spectrum, which was the best we had for storm system radar etc., and recently sold it off for Internet/phone companies to use in the future for data transmission

if it started private and the government never had a hand in, you have a point. but when the government was in control of a public resource and sold it for private profit that libertarian bullshit doesn't work

Now that Trump is in charge, liberals will use any natural disaster to attack him.

A lot of people move to dangerous places to escape liberals. I don't know why that should be held against them.
