A lot of my depth (and by that I mean my interest in philosophy n shiet) was just drugs. I've quit, so what now? Do I continue doing things from my old life or just move on with new stuff? One is comforting because it's part of me and isn't a restart, but the other one isn't steeped in all of the parts of myself that I hate.

Build upon your interests and hopes before starting drugs.

Well that isn't going to happen because those things have been abandoned. I am more interested in advice about my drugs hobbies and whether they are permanently corrupted.

Protip: you didn't have an interest in philosophy even with drugs, you were basically just hallucinating meaning. Try getting back into while sober and seeing what happens.

If you enjoyed something on drugs, chances are you still might to a lesser degree at first. You must nurture your relationship with yourself as if you were starting again. Learn yourself for what you are and not what the drugs made you. Only this way will you find fulfillment in life.

So I should move on? I think I will get into fitness like every other recovered person does

Yes. You need to move on, all the time, anon. Otherwise you stagnate. I applaud your delving into the fitness world. It's very rewarding. You'll find that in another five years, a lot of your perspectives will have changed and you will have moved on from even what you start now. Constant change is good. Standing still is not.

Hmm, zero resistance? Maybe fitness is not for me.
