I don't expect to ever see a psychiatrist or get a diagnosis or meds or anything, but I just want some control over my brain for once.

It just feels like constant noise, I get distracted and drop even the simplest tasks. It's like a physical sensation and tension that I can't seem to describe. It's like I would rather just do nothing and avoid my hobbies and the things I enjoy even.

Would try more breathing relaxation exercises, but my nose is completely clogged all the time

Start to forcefully depress yourself. Meaning, get off your phone, stop listening to music, no bright colors or masturbating. Dry up every bit of motivation the world is forcing down your throat, and you will have complete control over what you want to motivate you.

Lol I stopped listening to music a long time ago because I felt too anxious and weird about it. The thing is, even lying in bed doing nothing doesn't stop me from feeling this way.
