>Watch monster musume at 14 and instantly obsessed
>Checked for new fanfics on a daily basis, looked for any new fanart, hoped for season 2 for years
>Find online community dedicated to MM, continue to fantasize and allow the show to fill my mental subconscious
>Look back on it all
>Wasted ~10 years of my life thinking about the series instead of focusing on my social life, my career, or making myself employable, etc
>Come out to the living room one day
>Bro showing off his DVD collection to nerdy relatives
>”-and this one is my favorite anime by far”
>Blue ray copy of Monster fucking musume
>Still continue to think about the series and its characters
>At the point to where i’m so familiar with the series that departing from it would feel like I’m ripping out a piece of me
What do I do?
