I'm looking for advice on YouTube and honestly, the more I watch these grifters making money off their "personality disorder", the more I learn how disinformational it really is.
I'm watching this video explaining what happens when you "expose" a narcissist: https://www.youtube.com/shorts/uUAUoDEtQhs
The answer is "they might become vindictive, want revenge, make up stuff about you, maybe even become dangerous."
On the surface, we can all go wow, "exposing a narcissist must be detrimental."
But what is he actually saying?
>If you deconstruct the identity of the person you love, they might become upset with you.
How is that a uniquely narcissistic thing? People are saying I'm a narcissist, so if someone "exposes me" as in deconstructs the version of me that I claim that I am, such as good in school, a good guy, bla bla. If someone "exposes me" by revealing that I might not actually be such a nice guy because I was mean to them, or that I am only trying to be good in school because my parents are forcing me to and that I actually hate it, how does that make ME the bad guy?
Literally the person in that video is saying if YOU "EXPOSE" A NARCISSIST, THEY MIGHT BECOME UPSET, and they are all "blaming the narcissist", never once reflecting that they were attracted to that "fantasy" to begin with, so what does it say about them?
I've realized this NPD-lexicon is one giant grift and the rabbit hole will turn you into an imbecille. Idk where to find advice anymore.
