I can’t decide between two major decisions in my life

To get a full picture:
>im 20
>NEET living with parent
> got 1100 bucks saved
>only income is editing videos online that can make me roughly 400 bucks per month (I usually work only once or twice a week for some clients)

So I can either:

1. Go to college I got accepted to in September. Stay living with my parents and commute to it 40km Monday-Friday plus do my own thing on the side

2. Move to capital city with my friend. Find some cheap rent and do food deliveries or some other crappy wagie job plus my video editing side gig.

Any anons here who had same experience? What did you guys choose? I would also like to hear some of your stories (how you live, budgeting, general helpful stuff for this situation - I have roughly 3 months to chose)

Do you actually see yourself using a college degree, even if only partially? If so, then go to college and actually put in the effort to come out with a degree.
If you want to be a NEET for as long as possible, then you could go the second route, but that's a fast track to depression and burnout by the time you're in your late 30s at best.

OP here. I forgot to clarify. College starts in September while 2nd option “getting a rent with my friend” will most likely be in October. Because it’s July atm I have 2-3 months to decide.

Go to college. It’ll give you thr social life you want, while doing something productive. You might find a friend you can move in with down the line there too.

-someone who went the no college / city living route

Options 2 sounds more fun and interesting. But you will have an interesting life for sure, just not really fun in the long run.

You sound a little bit like me. But I'm 19 and spend most of my time playing eroge. And I'm not looking into further education or social activities and look like I'll be a NEET for the foreseeable future.

Everyone is telling you to do college immediately but if you're really an autistic NEET I'd do the second option first, try to get back into life just doing shit jobs at first so when you go to college you're more extroverted and dont just end up sitting in your room.

I'm 2 years older than you so I'd say go to college if you want to get into medical or something STEM related. If not, don't even bother with college, take a trade.

shut up dude sitting in your room is a choice, if anything go to college and fix the social skills later. It will be way harder to go to college after.

It takes time to stop being an autistic loser. I would just do some shit jobs to try and get good with people first before jumping into college. I would because I did do this, you massive faggot. Don't just jump into college until you fix your social skills as if you do you're just going to waste all 4 years, probably do and say some embarrassing shit early on as an autist which then ruins your reputation.

nah, you’re a fool. the younger you go to college the better. being 4 years older than everyone isnt going to make you feel chill.
