this year i'll turn 30 and my family just forgot about me, ever since my mother passed away, me and my brothers have grown more distant, i always helped my sister (who's suicidal) even rescued her many many times taken her to to the whospital because she was trying to kill herself every week, my older brother was always distant. last year i was alone during my birthday,christmas and new year's. its not like i'm asking people to grovel at my feet but i do miss talking to someone and being loved.

HOWEVER, "male loneliness" has always kind of been a thing, and has always existed in some form or another. Or AT LEAST, when one group experiences prolonged periods of isolation and loneliness, it's almost always the men.

Love yourself before others.

Here's my advice: just find activities you can do with them and persistently ask them. You might have to embarrass yourself by seeming desperate, but trust me keeping in touch with others is way better than not.

Worst time in my life was during COVID when I let myself completely fall out of touch with my family. I just bugged my brothers until they agreed to play vidya again like the old days. Now we do it once a week.
