This will be my first time doing this process and living alone. Currently looking for Studio apartments for $1400-$1600 max. I make about 40k a year. My credit score is like 666 last I checked (father fucked up my credit when i co-signed for his car). Plan on just spoofing some paystubs so I don't end up in the fucking ghetto and landlords dont try and pass me over.

Whats some advice you anons can give me?

too many niggers have done this trick already so landlords are being more thorough with the verification process.

you're gonna be broke each month after rent, electricity, internet, cell phone, renters insurance, and food. yeah living alone owns bones, but i'd honestly recommend finding a roommate to save some bucks each month.

Already know a family member who did it who was fine. I also live a very minimalist lifestyle and eat the same food every day so I'm not worried. Plan on working a bit more just to pay for any other things I want.

That's pretty manageable if you want to live in a smaller town. If you can manage a commute from a nearby small town to your job it'll be easy to find an okay apartment in a place like that.
