I'm getting sick of trying to make friends and meet people because they all just seem so tiring. I just want to do drink and do lowkey shit with some friends who I can crack the occasional edgy joke with and who sometimes engage in 'deep' conversation.

All the people I meet are either wokies afraid of saying anything not 100% accepted by groupthink or occasionally a tradcath faggot who spergs about degeneracy. Nobody talks about books or movies or politics or any other scary culture that could challenge them. I feel like it's been years since I've had good conversation.

Everybody I meet also does annoyingly complicated social shit. "Drive 2 hours to see thing", "overpriced axe throwing or other gay quirky shit", stuff like that. I just wanna hang out and drink or shit.

Where do I find people who aren't like this? Are there places I should be looking or something?

I live in liberal fagtopia in the northeast would moving to Austin or somewhere help?

You should make a book club. If you network a lot you'll eventually accumulate different kinds of people that you can use for different things but it's a lot of work and everyone is basically mentally ill and waiting for robot friends at this point.
