Am i in the wrong for telling my mom to "shut the fuck up bitch" when she called me an "awkward failure piece of shit" during an argument she started because I wouldn't buy her groceries with my shitty minimum wage job? My dad went to prison when I was 4 so I have always had a trashy and ghetto relationship with my mother as she raised me single. We started arguing with vulgarities when I was 5 and none of it was ever genuine hatred but now that she has a boyfriend she expects respect when she still starts those stupid fights and insults me. She told my new stepdaddy how I mistreat her ignoring that she moved us into a shitty apartment and has been cursing me out since I was 5 and cooked me microwave pancakes for dinner as a kid which may have messed up my development due to lack of nutrition. The stepdaddy is actually pretty wealthy so he's our ticket out of poverty, but I can't bring myself to apologize when she started a fight insulting me and expected respect. I wasn't wrong

So, you can't go to him and tell him how your mom is a piece of shit and that microwave pancake stuff, because then he might reconsider dealing with the lot of you and think you're rubbish (which you are) and not worth his time. So maybe do some fake make up with your mom and make sure this guy gets a good impression.
